WaveAccess passed the scheduled ISMS recertification audit
WaveAccess successfully completed the scheduled inspection control to confirm the compliance of its information security management system (ISMS) against the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
The results of the recertification audit carried out by the independent certifying body DQS confirmed the compliance of the WaveAccess's information security management system against ISO/IEC 27001:2013. The company has again demonstrated the maturity of its current ISMS that is capable of protecting corporate information resources, customer and partner data, technologies, solutions developed and other assets from such threats as destruction, distortion, disclosure or loss.
External re-assessment of the ISMS is required not only to control the compliance of the implemented set of measures against international standards. It also contributes to the timely update and ongoing improvement of business continuity strategy planning.
Based on the positive audit findings, the certification body auditor has resolved to confirm the validity of the certificate No. 31101468 ISMS13 dated 08/10/2019 issued for WaveAccess. The next audit is scheduled for 2021.
ISO 27001:2013 is the internationally recognised framework that helps companies “establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and continually improve an ISMS”, and therefore keep their information assets secure. The latest version of the standard was published in 2013, replacing the 2005 iteration.
